... working on GC,...

Here is a quick update on my George Carlin drawing.  It is turning out kind of Ok,.. but to be honest I am more displeased with it than pleased. (the eyes are too small, the hair is off and the shape of the head is not quite right).   However I think I can repair it enough to bring it closer to my liking.

Here is what I have so far,...

.... maybe I care too much for this one,.. maybe I simply have too much on my mind right now,.. but I am working on that.   Below is a little close up of the ear (about the only part I am entirely pleased with right now).

... my idol the Class Clown,...

A most incredible mind,... Mr. George Denis Patrick Carlin.
One of my few idols.  A man who's manner of thought, sense of humor and incredible intellect has truly shaped my own sense of humor.   With this project, what I hope to capture is the brilliance at how he saw the world and his ease and mastery at sharing his thoughts and ideas,.. which I believe is first seen in his eyes.

  

















It is my thinking that if I get the eyes right to begin with the rest will fall into place, (with a little time and effort of course).
